 So its been a few weeks since I have started my eating healthy, or should I say eating on purpose.  I have stayed off the scale and only weighed myself the other day.  I have lost 10 pounds.  Not a great amount and water loss might figure into it but its a start and I plan on keeping with it.  Not getting on the scale for another month.  Its depressing and a non motivator.  Tom has also lost weight and his A1c is down to 6.  I remember when Rush lost a lot of weight and when asked how he did it he said that he just realized that there was a tomorrow and he didnt need to eat it all today.  That he could eat the rest tomorrow.  I have tried to think that way.  I grabbed a Jr Bacon Cheese burger the other day when I was out.  I was full after half.  I threw the rest out knowing that if I really wanted it, there would be another Jr Bacon Cheese burger tomorrow.  Here is looking forward to the fall and just how much I can lose by then.
